Benjamin Koble, PharmD, CNSCP
Director of Compounding | Pharmacist-in-Charge

Ben leads the compounding program at Minnich’s Compounding at Medicine Shoppe York, with a focus on customized medications, formulation support, sterile and nonsterile compounding, and collaboration with prescribers.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, he brings a strong interest in compounding science, patient-specific problem solving, and education. His work includes supporting customized therapies across areas such as ophthalmics, women’s and men’s health, veterinary medicine, dermatology, and specialized dosage forms.

Ben also works directly with prescribers on formulation questions, dosage-form selection, and patient-specific medication needs.

Meet Our Lead Compounding Technician

Courtney Keech, RPhT
Lead Compounding Technician

Courtney has been part of The Medicine Shoppe team since 2002 and has worked in compounding since 2004. Over the years, she has prepared customized medications for patients of all ages as well as an extraordinary variety of veterinary patients — from cats and dogs to more unusual species.

Her experience spans everything from simple suspensions and allergen-conscious preparations to medications for medically complex patients, NICU patients, hospice care, and pets with specialized needs. Courtney approaches every preparation with the same attention and care she would want for her own family, a perspective made especially meaningful by her experience compounding medications for her mother during hospice care.

After more than two decades in compounding, she has seen the field evolve tremendously and still enjoys the challenge of finding practical solutions when commercially available medications are not the right fit.

Outside the pharmacy, Courtney is married with four children and three grandchildren. She enjoys hiking, reading, and collecting antique apothecary and pharmaceutical items with her husband.
